I'm seeing that more users are having this issue, so I'd like to find out what everyone has in common. I would say, however, that if you have an underpowered AMD GPU (less than 1 GB VRAM), then I would advise updating to a more powerful GPU.
ADOBE PREMIER CC 2015 FADE TO WHITE PRO
Many customers with AMD GPUs are operating Premiere Pro CC 2014 with no issues. Sorry for your frustrations, but that's not true.
So for everyone that has CC and has an AMD needs to be careful, cause they will get *********** (edit: please don't use language like this). That's always been the case and nothing changed with the new release. The difference is that the performance is greatly accelerated with a NVIDIA card because it uses their technology. You should be able to create a ray-traced 3D composition with either an AMD or NVIDIA GPU installed.

So this happened, you believe, because of a Creative Cloud update? Do you recall which month that occurred? Did you update Premiere Pro CC at the same time? I would like to find out more about your issue to see if we can repeat the error. I can take a look at the case and see if I can find out and remedy what happened.Īs far as this being solely an AMD issue, it doesn't sound like it as customers using NVIDIA GPUs are having similar issues. Sounds like you had a frustrating time with our phone support and that is inexcusable. SO I called AMD.and guess what.they said to blame Adobe. Finally he said that there is no fix because AMD hasn't released an update that's compatible. Third time I finally kept one on the line and refused to end the session. First two time they said they would call back, never did. I use CS6, which works great, but doesn't have all of the awesome features.įor someone who needs to keep up with todays tech for their job, it really hurts me that Adobe would do this: ***************** (edit: again don't use language like this). I have all of these great CC products, but I can't even use them properly, especially not Premiere Pro, cause it shows the white screen.
When you open After Effects CC 2014 now, it says that GPU Acceleration for ray tracing won't work with AMD (They need to advertise that!). However this never use to happen, until Creative Cloud had an update several months ago when this all started.
Third time I finally kept one on the line and refused to end the But I don't know why it looks gray when I upload the. Remember that that "gray background" in fact is the "100% white FFFFFF" "Color matte" element created in Premiere. What am I doing wrong making the "garbage matte" thing to generate a perfect white background ? In this screen capture of how the video looks in Youtube, I point the "purple halo" around the garbage matte, and also a strange "artifact" that also appears near the neck of the person : The footage of the person is graded with Lumetri, but nothing to fancy, just a little color correction and that's all. But and when I upload to Youtube it shows a strange "purple halo" and the strange and certainly unexpected strong difference from the "white" between the "Pure white FFFFFF" Color Matte element (which looks almost "gray" in Youtube), and the "real white" around of the person in the original footage, with the garbage matte.

mp4 H264 (no mater if I use or not any of the "Youtube export presets" in the Media Encoder, makes no difference), if I play the. So far, so good, the background looks "infinite perfect" and shows no banding or any color issues or anything in Premiere. So, the "100% white" zone around the original footage of the person + the "100% white" color matte item = the person appears in an "infinite perfect white background". Them I create a "New item / Color matte" and set it to pure white "FFFFFF", and place it in a lower video track, below the video track with the clip of the person with the garbage matte. In the person's clip, I draw a garbage matte because around the person not all the background is "100% white", just the "persons area" in frame. I use a sort of "big softbox" as a iluminated white background behind the person talking. I have a "white back iluminated" white background footage of a person talking.
